Privacy, plainly.
This document describes the Ethos platform as built. It takes effect at public launch and any change will be dated here.
What we collect
What you give us at signup and after: your business description, services and prices, website address, logo, posting preferences, and your email. Connecting a channel stores an access credential for that channel. Using the product stores the content Ethos drafts and your decisions about it.
What we use it for
One thing: producing and publishing your content. Your material builds your brand record; your brand record grounds your posts. We don't sell your data and we don't use your content to advertise to anyone.
AI processing
Drafting and checking your content uses large language models. What we send them is scoped to your own brand record and the post being worked on. Every AI action runs under your plan's hard monthly budget.
Isolation
Every business's data is separated at the database layer — row-level isolation enforced on every table, on every query, not by application etiquette.
Deletion
Deleting your account is immediate and real: your subscription is cancelled, channel connections are disconnected, sessions end everywhere, and your content and data are permanently erased. Uploaded brand assets are queued for removal from storage. California residents: this is your CCPA deletion right, honored for everyone.
Sign-in links always arrive (they are how you access your account). Every other notification — approvals, publish problems, reconnects, edit updates — has an off switch in settings.
